📋 Psychomotor Exam Information
Before registering for your National Registry psychomotor (practical) exam, please carefully review the following important information:
Exam registration will open up 30 days prior to the exam and closes 3 days prior.
✅ What You Need to Bring:
Valid Photo ID
You must present a government-issued photo ID upon arrival. This is required to verify your identity before you can participate in the exam.
📵 Electronic Devices:
No student electronic devices are allowed inside the examination facility. This includes cell phones, smart watches, tablets, and similar items.
If someone needs to reach you during the exam for an emergency, please have them call the Seven Mountains EMS Council office at (814) 355-1474. Our staff will relay messages as needed.
📚 Study Materials:
Skill sheets and educational materials are allowed in the designated holding area only.
These materials may not be brought into exam stations or hallways used for testing.
🗣️ Candidate Conduct:
Discussion of exam scenarios or content is strictly prohibited.
Talking about the exam with other candidates may result in immediate dismissal and reporting to the Pennsylvania Bureau of EMS and the National Registry.
⏳ Exam Duration:
Please allow up to 6 hours for the entire exam process. While many candidates finish within 4 hours, plan for the possibility of additional time—especially if retesting is required and offered on-site.
🧭 Additional Rules for a Professional Exam Environment
To ensure a smooth, organized, and professional exam day experience for all candidates, please keep the following in mind:
Be on time. Arriving early helps keep the check-in process efficient and prevents delays for everyone.
Dress appropriately. Casual, professional, or uniformed attire is encouraged. Clothing with offensive graphics or language is not permitted.
Be respectful. Treat staff, evaluators, and fellow candidates with courtesy. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Follow directions. Instructions from exam staff and evaluators must be followed at all times to maintain exam integrity.
Remain in designated areas. Please stay within the assigned holding and testing zones unless directed otherwise by staff.
